The cost of enrolment is 99 USD per membership year. Prices may vary from region to region and are listed in the local currency during the enrolment process.

Membership includes access to beta OS releases, advanced app capabilities, and tools to develop, test, and distribute apps and Safari extensions.

There are two options to enrol in Apple Developer Program

  • Individual:
  • If users enrol as an individual or sole proprietor or single person business, who is interested in creating apps for distribution on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, then the user can sell apps on the App Store using their personal name. The users need to provide basic personal information, including their legal name and address.
  • Organisation:
  • If users enrol as an organisation, who is interested in creating apps for distribution on the App Store for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch, then the users as an organisation can sell apps on the App store using their legal entity name.

The users have to fulfil l the following requirements for enrolment as an organisation:

  • A D-U-N-S® Number: The organisation must have a D-U-N-S Number so that Apple can verify the identity of the organization and legal entity status. These unique nine-digit numbers are assigned by Dun and Bradstreet and are widely used as standard business identifiers. Check if the organization already has a D-U-N-S Number and request one, if necessary. They are free in most jurisdictions. Click Here to get a DUNS number
  • Legal Entity Status: The organisation must be a legal entity so that it can register legal agreements with Apple. Apple does not accept DBAs, fictitious business, trade names, or branches. The legal entity name must correspond with tax ID that the organisation plan to use and appears as the seller for apps available for the distribution on the App Store.
  • Legal Binding Authority: As a person enrolling the organisation in the Apple Developer Program, the user must have the legal authority to bind the organisation to legal agreements.
